Half Day Tour / Morning or Afternoon from Jackson, WY

Winter Wildlife & Scenic Safari

Season: November-April

Overview

As the temperatures drop into the winter months and bears retreat to their dens to hibernate - many other species remain active and visible throughout Jackson Hole. Some animals, in fact, move to lower elevations and sightings become far more common. Elk, moose, bighorn sheep and wolves congregate in the valleys, making for incredible wildlife encounters amidst beautiful, snowy landscapes. Our guides will take guests on an incredible, wintry journey through the open areas of Grand Teton National Park and the National Elk Refuge. In between viewing wildlife, we will indulge in historical sites and scenic viewpoints.
